We are very thankful to be so close in distance to part of our family, my sister Amy and her family live in North Carolina. We had alot of fun with the kids, and they are always great models for me. Are they not so cute?

Later on today I will be headed to North Carolina to see my sister and family! Justin and I will be leaving after work, and after traffic hopefully.
This is a great child sized chair I just purchased and cant wait to try out! I think a tiny little baby would just snuggle up wonderfully in it.. Hudson and Audrey will also love it i think, I’ll bring it with me to NC.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Justin and I enjoy nightly walks, especially now that is officially fall! As some of you may know we are in the process of purchasing a home, and unfortunately this last one fell through. We are trusting the Lord to help us figure out this house buying dilemma, its more than we can do on our own. In the time we are searching we are enjoying our time in fairfax, heres a couple photos just of our ever day lives. This glass builidng is part of a series of buildings they call “The Government Center”. I could do a whole series of photos of these buildings throughout the seasons, they really change their look through the year..
Yesterday this verse was brought up in a lecture in our bible study, and I find it very encouraging.
“A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers them from all.” Psalm 34:19

The colors are changing, and so is the weather! Yep fall is almost here.
We are enjoying our time outside, both Justin and I love fall.. I hope you all are enjoying the change of seasons as well. I look forward to seeing many more areas of Virginia this fall, especially sky line drive.. Anyone been there? I have heard wonderful things about the gorgeous rows of changing trees in the fall..

Growing up we never decorated for Christmas before thanksgiving, and of course I have followed in my families ‘day of thanksgiving rule’ for christmas music, most shopping ect..
All this to say, I do feel a bit guilty talking about Christmas this early…Though on the flip side I know what goes into preparing for a familes custom Christmas cards…
Since I am now scheduling family christmas sessions I decided I will be sharing here some of my new card designs for this season.
Enjoy! (I added photos of Justin and I in this one, though it is just an example, not our early Christmas card.

I LOVE color, and since our closing date could possibly be in two weeks, we made a quick trip to Home depot tonight, and i picked alot of swatches! I am having so much fun putting them all together, cant wait to try it out on some fresh white walls!
Today we were out visiting the home we have just made an offer on! Though everything is agreed, such as price ect, we still have to get inspections and so on. I thought I should use the side of our hopefully soon to be town home, and Justin modeled for me. Hes such a good sport. Also, these ‘flowers?’ were among many unusual plants we found around the neighborhood.. No we arent moving to the tropics, but wouldnt you think so from these unusual plants? : ) Enjoy the weekend!

One of our favorite gelato spots is whole foods, they make the yummies gelato! Fresh every day i believe, at least thats what they tell us.
So I have been wanting to take a picture of their lovely display for quite awhile but only got this one out when I was discretely told by another customer that I should hide the camera quick because they tightly monitor pictures of the gelato.. Haha I guess they have quite the thing going they need to keep it under wraps.. Well I dont like to cause trouble, so I put the camera away, sadly.. Heres the one pic I did get, and if anyone is in town visiting be sure that we will treat you to Whole Foods or Wegman’s gelato.

Hi all, here are my new business cards which hopefully will be in my hands soon to pass out. : ) They are extra long because they are the shape of a book mark, which can be folded in half of course.
I guess its pretty handy because if you love reading, then you can use my card as a book mark. Let me know if you want any to pass out, I’m counting on word of mouth to pass the word along.
(top is the front)
(this bottom one is the inside, though it will be folded in half)
